BHAGYAJYOTHI Network, registered on 12th October 2006 under the Societies Registration Act, 1960, works dedicatedly with People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) in Yadgir District. We provide advocacy, individual and family counselling, nutrition training, and capacity building for taluk-level positive networks. Our strong collaborations with government departments, hospitals, NGOs, and community-based organizations ensure improved health services for PLHIV. As of March 2022, we have 7,483 members in the CSC project and 482 in CBOs. We also conduct awareness and training programs for NGO staff, SHGs, youth clubs, colleges, and government departments to strengthen community support for positive living.

We conducted our team meeting to review ongoing projects, discuss progress, and plan upcoming activities. It served as a platform for sharing ideas, addressing challenges, and strengthening coordination among team members. The discussion focused on improving program delivery, enhancing community engagement, and ensuring effective implementation of initiatives. Such meetings help align our efforts and keep everyone motivated toward achieving our mission.
On 23rd March 2025, we organised a Self-Help Group (SHG) meeting in Yadgir to strengthen women’s participation in community development. The meeting focused on financial literacy, group management, and income-generating opportunities. Members discussed challenges, shared success stories, and explored ways to enhance self-reliance through collective action. Such gatherings not only build stronger SHGs but also inspire women to take active roles in decision-making and leadership within their communities.
On 1st December 2023, we organised an International AIDS Day Jatha in Yadgir with the theme “Let Communities Lead.” The event aimed to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and promote community leadership in ending stigma and discrimination. Participants gathered at the District Health & Family Welfare Office, Yadgir, where PLHIV, health officials, NGOs, and community members came together in solidarity. The rally served as a powerful reminder that communities hold the strength and voice to drive lasting change.
